Northern Ireland. Up to £3,000 (project costs only) for registered charities, community groups and not-for-profits operating in NI. NOT A HARD INCOME BAR (first-party 2026-08-09): the funder writes “Organisations should have a turnover of less than £100,000 p/a”, and uses “must” in the bullets either side of it, so the £100,000 figure is a strong preference rather than a ceiling — a larger organisation is not automatically ineligible. The funder adds that “preference will be given to grassroots and smaller organisations, especially those with lived experience represented in their governance or delivery teams”. Priorities: poverty alleviation and support for women and children at risk of immediate harm (incl. violence against women & girls, refugees & asylum seekers). Rolling fund — applications assessed monthly; funder may close at short notice if demand exceeds funds. Projects up to 12 months. Excludes individuals, for-profits, statutory bodies, advancement of religion, capital/building, advocacy and fundraising events. NOTE (checked 2026-08-08): the fund page reads "Ongoing - No Deadline" and the funder confirms "This is a rolling fund. Applications received by the end of each month will be assessed during the following month." Access route: all applications and monitoring go through the Community Foundation's Fundseeker Portal, and first-time users are directed to its 'How to Apply' guide before starting. The funder asks you to confirm, before applying, that you are a locally based not-for-profit, voluntary or community group working in NI; have an active management committee with no two related cheque signatories; have a governing document in the applicant organisation's name; have a current bank account in the organisation's name; have up-to-date annual accounts; and have complied with the conditions of previous grants including monitoring returns. CICs are eligible only with an asset-lock clause and at least three committee members, a majority unrelated. Successful applicants must agree to comprehensive monitoring and reporting and may be asked to take part in beneficiary spotlights.
